FREE VALET PARKING for Rancho Mirage Residents Valet Parking Sign

The City does not allow valet service to charge a fee to Rancho Mirage residents at any shopping center, restaurant or hotel within Rancho Mirage. Residents can stop by city hall to show their identification, i.e.: a drivers license, property tax bill, utility bill, etc., to receive a yellow placard. This placard should be displayed in your car window when visiting these areas. The River and all valet services in Rancho Mirage must abide by this rule in order to obtain and retain a business license.




Ambulance Service is FREE in Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage Budget 2015-2017 Ambulance service from any location in Rancho Mirage is free. If a person from another city was injured or became sick and required ambulance service from a location in Rancho Mirage to the emergency room there would still be no charge.




Rancho Mirage is Debt Free

Rancho Mirage Budget 2015-2017 Rancho Mirage is now debt free. City Council voted on March 3rd to use reserve funds to pay off a $3.6 million balance from a 2005 bond, saving the city more than $1.6 million in interest.

On June 18th the Rancho Mirage City Council unanimously adopted budgets for the next two years. The new budgets include the purchase and outfit of a new ambulance in fiscal year 2015-16 planned to go into service the following year. Also of significant note is the approval of $100,000 set aside for rebates in the Turf Conversion Program beginning July 1st 2015.
